NTHFA events generate community interest in an event or issue; they create multiple perspectives based upon locations, brands and themes, or inspire creativity and team spirit. They appeal to all ages, abilities and interest levels.
By creating time, technological and script limits, the challenge of making a film becomes fun and attainable. Fast filmmaking involves the whole community in the creation of art and in the excitement of filmmaking. Having local industry professionals at different levels as judges lends credibility and weight to the winning films. We award prizes that make filmmaking a more obtainable goal to the winning artists.
